Frequently Asked Questions

What to Know Before Your Visit

Clear answers about pricing, insurance, treatment, and what you can expect when receiving care at InSpine Health.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes. InSpine Health accepts all major insurance plans. Coverage and out-of-pocket costs depend on your individual policy and benefits.

Contact our office before your appointment if you would like help verifying your chiropractic benefits.

Do you accept Workers’ Compensation and No-Fault cases?

Yes. We accept eligible New York Workers’ Compensation and No-Fault cases for workplace and motor vehicle accident injuries.

Please contact our office before scheduling so we can review your claim information and confirm which documents may be required.

What is the cash price for chiropractic care?

Our current cash pricing for chiropractic care is:

  • Initial chiropractic examination: $210
  • Follow-up chiropractic visits: $75

These rates apply to cash-pay chiropractic visits. Patients using insurance may have a different out-of-pocket cost depending on their benefits, deductible, copay, or coinsurance.

What happens during the first chiropractic visit?

Your first visit includes a consultation, review of your health history, discussion of your symptoms and goals, and a physical examination.

Your chiropractor may assess posture, mobility, range of motion, muscle tension, and other areas related to your concerns before recommending a personalized care plan.

Will I receive treatment during my first visit?

Treatment may begin during your first visit when your chiropractor determines that it is appropriate following the examination.

In some cases, additional information, medical records, imaging, or further evaluation may be recommended before treatment begins.

Will I need X-rays or other imaging?

Not every patient needs imaging. Your chiropractor will make that determination based on your health history, symptoms, examination, and any relevant clinical findings.

If imaging is recommended, your provider will explain why it may be helpful and discuss the next steps with you.

How many chiropractic visits will I need?

The number and frequency of visits vary from person to person. Your recommendation may depend on your symptoms, health history, goals, daily activities, and how your body responds to care.

After your evaluation, your chiropractor will explain the proposed plan and adjust it as needed throughout your care.

Can chiropractic care and massage therapy be combined?

Yes. Many patients combine chiropractic care and massage therapy as part of their wellness or recovery plan.

Massage therapy may help address muscle tension and relaxation, while chiropractic care may focus on joint mobility, movement, and musculoskeletal function. Your providers can help determine what combination may be appropriate for your goals.

Do you provide pregnancy and postpartum care?

Yes. We offer personalized chiropractic and massage therapy services for pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and ongoing care for mothers.

Pregnancy-related chiropractic care may include techniques such as the Webster Technique when appropriate. Prenatal and postpartum massage sessions are adapted to your stage of care, comfort, and individual needs.

Do I need a referral to schedule an appointment?

Most patients can schedule directly without a referral. However, certain insurance plans or claim types may have additional requirements.

Contact our office if you are unsure whether your plan requires a referral or authorization.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily is recommended. Athletic wear, leggings, loose-fitting pants, and comfortable tops generally work well.

You do not need to purchase or wear anything special for your visit.

Do I need to be in pain to see a chiropractor?

No. Some patients schedule care because of pain or an injury, while others come in for posture support, mobility, muscle tension, physical recovery, or ongoing wellness care.

Your chiropractor will discuss your goals and help determine whether care is appropriate for your needs.

Can I use an HSA or FSA card?

HSA and FSA cards may be accepted for eligible services. Coverage and eligibility can vary depending on your account and plan rules.

Please contact your plan administrator if you need confirmation regarding a specific service.
