Dr. Alyssa Lloyd is a native New Yorker. She is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University where she received a full academic scholarship as a Bunton Waller Fellow. After graduation, she spent time in New York City working as a college administrator. After two years of work, she decided to follow her passion and study chiropractic medicine. Dr. Lloyd is a graduate of Northeast College of Health Sciences, formerly New York Chiropractic College. She completed extensive training on highly complex cases during her clerkship through the honors program at the Miami VA Medical Center.
Dr. Lloyd became interested in the profession at the age of 16 when she was injured throwing shot put. She developed chronic low back pain and sought out multiple professionals for her condition. After finding a chiropractor she finally began to feel improved.
